Hi, Skyler:
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the diversity between each of the articles you selected. The first article really hits close to home, as I have a fear of private planes and helicopters due to their unreliability. Like you mentioned, the Kobe Bryant tragedy is another reminder of why these private planes and helicopters need to be extra careful before taking flight. It's a shame this little girl is now without a father . . . I know she would have much rather him missed her birthday. Not only does the problem exist with the private plane owners, but also the control towers with which they communicate. I hope these tragedies will cause future pilots and passengers to proceed with caution.
Hi Skyler,
ReplyDeleteI think you chose great stories for this specific assignment. I liked how you explained all the stories very specific but to the point. The most impactful one for me was definitely the one about the pilot being killed while flying to his daughter's birthday party. It's very scary how there's so many accidents with small planes and helicopters.
Hi Skyler,
ReplyDeleteMany of these articles caught my attention. However, none caught mine as much as the article regarding the UF student that was struck and killed by a car. Cars drive far too recklessly in Gainesville and are not aware of their surroundings. Overall, this was a great post!
